Job Description

LaborMax Staffing is hiring Demo Assistants to support demolition crews in safely removing materials from commercial and residential job sites. This position is ideal for someone who is hardworking, reliable, and ready to perform physically demanding tasks in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the demolition and removal of structures, walls, flooring, and debris

Use hand tools and power tools as needed to complete demolition work

Load and unload materials and debris into dumpsters or trucks

Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times

Follow instructions from site supervisors and safety guidelines

Help protect surrounding areas from damage during demolition

Perform other general labor duties as assigned

Requirements:

Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus but not required Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting (50+ lbs), bending, and standing for long periods Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions Comfortable working in dusty, noisy, or confined environments Must wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), which may include hard hats, gloves, goggles, and steel-toed boots
