Construction Laborer
Skagit & Whatcom County WA
Hourly/Non-Exempt FT Position
Locally owned and operated construction company specializing in concrete work, refinish/remodel construction, and other services. Serving the community for over 25 years by providing stable jobs and competitive wages.
Job Summary:
Reliable, hard working, and self sufficient position to help the owner with remodel and new builds and concrete jobs in and around the Whatcom and Skagit areas. This position requires working knowledge of construction tools (hand and power), experience working in the construction industry, and the ability to travel around the two counties.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties will vary depending on the project.
Digging trenches, compacting earth and backfilling holes.
Loading and unloading materials and equipment
Assisting skilled tradespeople in concrete finishing, vacuum slurry, and pouring
Doing drywall work, remodeling businesses, and doing odds and ends work
Additional Responsibilities:
Positive attitudes
Strong work ethic
Attention to attendance and reliability
Reliable transportation w/ a clean driving record
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred

Requirements:
Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 1+ years experience/knowledge working in construction *Valid Driver's License for at least 3 years *Ability to pass an MVR *No attendance issues and must be punctual *Have viable means of communication for next day job information and possible changes *Have construction experience and be able to take direction well
