Job Description
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and presentation, strong multitasking skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assembling dishes according to our recipes, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure food safety.
Communicate effectively with other team members and kitchen staff.
Assist with inventory and stocking as needed.
Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook.
Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
Familiar with industry best practices.
